Black Tea Indonesia

The cultivation of tea in Indonesia goes back to the colonial era of the dutchmen at the end of the 19th century. Because of the location near the equator it is possible to harvest the hole year. Anyhow our teas are only harvested in the dry period between August and September. That makes them high quality teas. On the island Java it is possible to harvest the hole year because of the subtropical climate. But the best qualities grow here during the dry and hot period in July and September.
